Head Case Wideouts

by Nathan Hague on 08/13/2012

So far, there’s been no word as to whether or not Chad 8-5 Johnson was wearing a Hague Sports Drama Queen Tiara when he head butted his wife, but we’d like to think he was, not because it would hurt more but because of the irony of it.

Either way, the former Drama Queen winner showed he’s worthy of the award yet again with his recent tactics. After being told by first-year head coach Joe Philbin to clean up his language in press conferences, the head-case receiver was also seen and heard on HBO’s Hard Knocks joking he was going to get arrested.

Well, after making a hard knock with his head, he was arrested and continued to make a joke of himself. The Dolphins had enough and released Eight-Five.

Meanwhile, Plaxico Burress worked out with the Patriots and is looking for a new home and after he saw what his fellow wide receiver did, he got a bit anxious hoping to fill the empty roster spot in Miami.

“What Chad did was stupid but I think he will learn from his mistake,” Burress said in an exclusive interview. “You be hearing of these receivers doing dumb stuff all the time, giving us a bad name. One receiver might be dog fighting while another is out at night clubs and such without his body guards and without any guns to protect himself. Man, that just dumb.”

Burress went on to say he hopes to hear from the Dolphins as early as today.

Burress and Johnson are both clients to Drew Rosenhaus but when we tried asking him about the two receivers, he proceeded only to say, “Next question.”
